and on today's show, I hopped on a call with one of my former teammates and Houston native, Scott Casimir.

He's got one of the more interesting baseball careers you'll find out there. He's been an amateur phenom,

a first-round pick, an all-star, but he's also been

released, played indie ball, and had some long winding roads to get back to the big leagues.

After some more successes and failures and injuries, he's on the comeback trail again now.

So it was great to catch up with him and hear some of the stories from along the way.

This is a treat for me because I've had a few of my former teammates on, but you are one of the guys that I've always

thought about in a very specific sense, because Scott Feldman told me one time, he said,

Scott Casimir is the most show guy I've ever played in Major League Baseball with.

And I thought, anybody who Scott Feldman can say that about has got to have a story.

And, you know, knowing you a little bit and haven't played with you for a minute, I know that

your story is, frankly, it's pretty crazy.
