know asleep Hello, everyone. Welcome back to the show. I'm recording this from Sedona, Arizona. We've been here for the past week, a little mini desert training camp. It's my second week back to training. And man, I, it's been a couple years since

I'd come to Sedona. And of course, I remember that it was, it was great. But man, it's even

better than I remembered. Obviously, the mountain biking is legendary, but the road riding is great, too.

And I think we need to plan more trips down here. It's a special

place. It's going to be sad to leave in a couple of days. But speaking of favorite places,

today's conversation was recorded virtually from Tasmania, Australia, which is, I hate

ranking things, but probably my second favorite place in the world outside of home

in Durango. Nicole and I got married there just a little over a year ago. But the first trip was

in late 2022 for a big mission, coast-to-coast mission, crossing Tasmania. And finally, someone has

finished the route. Scott Bowden, today's guest, is Tasmanian. He was a 2016 cross-country

Olympic Olympian, went to the 2016 Olympics.

Pro road racer has a really interesting story.

It was kind of one of the career casualties of the pandemic.

It really just kind of threw him a bunch of curveballs and he came out the other side
