of August as we're quickly moving into September.

So I'm so glad to see you as we start moving towards the unofficial end of summer,

which probably already feels like it's upon you.

If you've already started back to like a more serious work schedule or more serious school

schedule, it certainly has been, and I just let's, you hear that a knock on wood.

You know, when we get into the final week of August before Labor Day, you got a lot of

people taking vacation.

You get a little bit of a natural slowdown when it comes to the news.

But we know that doesn't really matter because anytime I say something like that, there's

going to be a big news story.

So welcome to scoop at

smarter news and hopefully we didn't jinx ourselves for the next several days. But this is the final

week of August and then we're officially into fall and we got a lot of big topics that we know

are on the horizon for fall, a lot of big topics that we're going to tackle today. But for those

of you who are anxious for fall to welcome fall in, maybe you're

already burning that candle, you know, the fall foliage candle. Does everyone have one of those?

You already got one of those going in the house? Maybe it's just wishful thinking because you're in Texas

like I am and you're already, you just continue to see that 100 degree weather.

However, nationwide, we're going to experience something together.
