Summary

Back from Thanksgiving holiday, we find ourselves at a crossroads, not only transitioning to the final month of 2022 but at the intersection of several big stories that impact our health, our wealth, and our overall wellness. From a flu no one is talking about, to protests in China (and Iran) that prove bigger than the headline, the good news/bad news economy, and the controversy over a new ad campaign by Balenciaga that ignites fundamental questions for society as a whole: "What's acceptable?" "And who's accountable?" We look forward to your feedback!

Hey, everybody. Welcome to The Scoop, our post- Thanksgiving Scoop. Hope you had a great holiday

0:07.6

with family and friends. And our whole goal today is just to take care of you a little bit.

0:12.7

I'm sure you've taken care of a lot of people over the last several days. And now you're getting

0:16.7

into a brand new week. It's the final Monday in November. It's going to be December by the end of

0:20.8

the week. And we are be December by the end of the

0:20.9

week, and we are quickly moving towards the end of the year. We had a lot of news that sort of piled up

0:26.2

throughout the Thanksgiving holiday, a lot of different news. And so what we decided to do in our

0:30.8

special report, our text version of our special report, is give you sort of a glossary of terms

0:36.2

of different news items that took place

0:38.8

that sometimes connect, sometimes don't connect at all so that you could really catch up

0:43.4

quickly. And that's going to be my goal today for you through this report as well,

0:47.0

to catch you up on some of the bigger stories that we're watching at the beginning of the

0:51.1

week. And these impacts your health, your wealth, and your overall

0:54.9

wellness. We're going to talk about a story that's really a conversation starter that's

0:59.3

accelerated over the last several days. It has to do with a major fashion house. You might know

1:04.2

what I'm talking about, but we're going to give you an overview if you haven't. Just quickly

1:07.5

here, I thought this would be fun to share with you. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I spent it with my family, my extended family. And during the holiday, we actually received our family photos. This is a huge victory for me. I enjoy deadlines when it comes to the news. I do not enjoy deadlines when it comes to holiday cards. I am the sort of person that says

1:28.0

they're going to send a holiday card and then never does it and then says, well, it's going to be a

1:32.8

New Year's card. That gives me time until January and then I still don't send it. So this year,

1:39.8

I just thought we haven't had a family photo in a long time. We're going to do it. It's going to happen.

1:45.6

I think it's going to happen. But the first thing that we had to do is get family photos,

1:48.9

and we did get those. And I just want to show you how they turned out. I only have one to show.
