My friends, welcome to the Prophecy Prose, Jeff Killing, along with Todd Hampson,

and we're in this season where we're talking about the apologetics of the apocalypse

and how exactly do we defend our faith based upon Bible prophecy., Todd, we've been discovering that there's a lot

of Bible prophecy that enables us to effectively communicate the validity, the credibility, and the

authenticity of Scripture and of the Christian faith. It really is.

Yeah, it's kind of combining two worlds, but they naturally go together if you think about it.

Apologetics, meaning evidences for the faith.

And fulfilled Bible prophecy is an apologetic in itself, but also the fact that we have yet

fulfilled prophecy, and we're seeing the conditions for it or hints of it today.

So it really does serve as an apologetic for the Bible itself and lets us know that prophecy is on the near horizon.

Absolutely. And that's one of the things that, you know, we want to continue to do as we study Bible prophecy.

You know, sometimes people will kind of lay at the feet of folks that do

Bible prophecy. They'll say, well, what relevance is it for my life today? Yeah. I mean, how can I

apply the fact there's going to be an Antichrist or, you know, a second coming is coming, or these

judgments are coming to the earth? And one of the reasons why people will avoid the whole book of

revelation is because they don't see relevance to it. And listen, that makes perfect sense. We want to

know what it means for me and my life right now. So I think that's completely valid and legit.

But the good news is, is that there's so much of what we look at in Bible prophecy

that directly impacts today in our lives. And so that's what we're doing this entire season

on the apologetics of the apocalypse here. So, Todd, let's begin kind of generally and move

kind of more specifically here.
