I got in touch with you a couple of months ago because I was really struggling to understand what I would say is something of a seismic spirit in the church,

whether that's leading people to center of a cantism or benefit of a cantism at the time.

I had a lot of questions about the SSPX and you really helped me out a great deal.

And I watched a video you gave recently in which you talked about the state of the SSPX and these sorts of things.

I thought you did a marvelous job.

And so really honored to have you on the show.

It's great to be here.

So you used to be with SSPX tell us I did I was attending the Society Chapel for about 15

years actually and you know how that how that came about was simply I moved from the city

to a place that was closer to a society chapel and And Matt, honestly, my 100% motivation for doing so as I wanted to raise my young kids in the traditional Mass.

I mean, this was before they even received the sacraments, right?

So I had already been attending the Latin Mass.

I had already discovered that this was close to 20 years ago. And so I was attending the

diocesan Latin Mass, especially during the week. And then when we moved to the rural area,

well, our trek to the Latin diocesan Latin Mass turned into be an hour. And the society chapel

was, you know, less than 15 minutes away. So it's much easier to get a family to the chapel

when it's that close. So, you know, frankly, that was the reason. I didn't jump on the bandwagon

because of, you know, any doctrinal principle or issue I had with the church or to defend Archbishop

Lefebfet per se. It was the fact that the society priests were saying a beautiful mass. And as I got to know, the priests, they were genuinely good men and good, you know, attempting to be as faithful as they could to what they believed.
