So there's a saying in football.

It's Jimmy's and Joe's versus X's and O's.

Now the dolphins don't have a lot of Jimmy's and Joe's on defense,

but it's the concept of the name versus the scheme. And we have Chop Robinson, Kenneth Grant, Jacob Rodriguez, Dante Trader, Chris Johnson Jr., whole plethora of names defensively that could make a leap and help define this

Dolphins defense in 2026.

But this is about the scheme, trends in the scheme.

And I want to give a major, major shout out to Cody Alexander of match quarters.

If you're not familiar with Cody, he is phenomenal. He does outstanding

scheme-based X's and O's football content. He has a coaching background that goes to the

University of Baylor and Dave Miranda as a really successful college coach. So Cody knows his stuff.

And he spent some time this offseason getting into some of the

exes of those of some of the things that Jeff Halfley's done. And I've got a chance

to the last couple weeks to watch some of it and then piggyback that and going in and

watching some Jeff Halfley Packers tape for myself. And it was two trends, two, two notable
