Hey deserving listeners, so lately I've been doing all these episodes on schema therapy and I'm finding that it's really interesting and helpful to think

about personality and our own issues and our history in through the lens of

schema therapy.

And I've been hearing from a lot of listeners

that they really enjoy a schema therapy

and have been applying the model to themselves and finding

that it's a very, very helpful way of understanding our own issues and it provides a way of

understanding that and also a way to get out of the sort of repetitive loops

that our personality gets into.

And as a part of that, I've been trying to flesh out my understanding of schemas by actually

talking to people and interviewing them about their schemas and how

their schemas manifest.

How do they maladaptively cope with their schemas?

How have they healed from their schemas? And this provides the kind of real life examples that really flesh out a model.

You know, it's one thing to read about it,

and it's a whole other thing to actually see it
