Do you know why most people are scattered?
Because they don't schedule shit.
When I was a kid, we didn't have cell phones, gps, or anything beyond a clock and our personal commitment to being responsible for getting to where we needed to be and on time.
Why?
Because if we were late, we got our asses whipped.
So I always made sure I was always 15 minutes early.
If you're not 15 minutes early, you're late.
When I started my business, I had to have a more organized way to get things done on time and on schedule.
When I got married and started having kids, I needed to make sure I made time with my children, my wife, and family obligations.
As I was juggling everything, I had to be more protective and strategic with my time.
And I made a new rule.....
If it wasn't on my calendar, it wasn't real and didn't get done.
I urge you to take this on as a policy in your life.
Schedule things.
Schedule time.
And if it doesn't fit into the box on your calendar, it's not getting done that day.
If you want to get more done and be more productive you have to be more strategic with your time.

0:52.2 | at any time like we do today. So we showed up 15 minutes early because if you were on time, a minute or too late, the bus might have left. The car might have left. You might not have caught a ride to wherever we were going. That was always my biggest fear growing up was that I was going to get left behind. I don't know that it ever happened to me, but man, I was always scared about that. |
