We begin in China because the troubles in China are impossible to ignore.

The Secretary of Commerce, recent trip to China, reveals certain positive statements and

then, Wall Street Journal reporting, Commerce Secretary Jean Ramondo's China trip that

ended Wednesday just days past.

Mark the resumption of economic and commercial dialogue between Washington and Beijing,

offering a glimmer of hope among U.S. companies that say they are facing increasingly hostile

business conditions in China, augmenting this observation from the journal.

Companies have experienced new U.S. restrictions on exports and investments and retaliations

against them from China.

They are in addition to traditional Chinese obstacles such as discriminatory subsidies

and intellectual property theft.

Chris a very good evening to you, I would say the Wall Street Journal is taking 50 cent

words to say very carefully that China has become an adversary in trade.

Your understanding, because you have business all over the world, but especially on the mainland,

are conditions improving?

Are they staying stagnant?

Are they deteriorating when it comes to the conduct of Chinese trade and foreign trade?
