Saabones is a show about medical history, and nothing the hosts say should be taken as medical advice or opinion.

It's for fun. Can't you just have fun for an hour and not try to diagnose your mystery boil?

0:14.0

We think you've earned it. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy a moment of distraction from that weird growth.

0:22.0

You're worth it.

Alright, time is about to books. One, two, one, two, three, four.

We came across a pharmacy with a toy and that's lost it out. We were shot through the broken glass and had ourselves a look around.

Hello everybody and welcome to Saabones, a mental tour of Miss Guy to Medicine. I'm your co-host Justin McAroy.

1:09.0

I'm Sydney McAroy. Well folks, big news. We have, it's the news you've all been waiting for. We have a big new addition to McAroy family.

1:20.0

That's right. Extended family. Yeah, that's right Justin. We are proud to announce that my parents have inherited a stray dog.

1:31.0

Yeah, inherited. Sorry, that was me. I'm not sure if it's accurate that they inherited it. It's sort of a dog wandered on to their porch and now will not leave.

2:02.0

I don't, I don't think it looks, it's very friendly. It's clearly been, many wolves are friendly. It's clearly been around.

2:08.0

No, I don't think wolves are ever friendly, are they? Sometimes wolves are friendly. Look at watching Game of Thrones for once.

2:15.0

I would recommend assuming that wolves are not friendly for everyone in the listening audience.

2:21.0

The other worry about stray dogs, of course, rabies. Well, now that is a valid concern.

2:27.0

See, every time I see a dog, I just assume rabies until proven innocent.

2:31.0

That's probably not a good assumption in this country since the vast majority of dogs have been vaccinated.

2:39.0

Okay, well, since I clearly don't know anything about rabies, why don't you educate me a little bit, sister?

2:44.0

All right, just to, just to preface though, I don't think that dog has rabies and I hope we find it a nice home or that my mom convinces my dad to keep it.

2:52.0

Well, you're a doctor and not a vet. So if you'll forgive me.

2:55.0

No, that's fair, but it's a very friendly, pleasant dog. That's fine.
