I'm going to resist the urge to enter the diaper discourse.

It's not an overwhelming urge, easier resisted than some of my other urges.

in the last week that I could talk about today. And in our current news and culture climate,

really a week is an eternity, just since last Monday. Trump was indicted, final fuckingly.

what the fuck you learn, Musk. And Bud Light has brought out a new line of pride, Bud Light,

cans in April for reasons, lots to talk about, lots of very recent events, hyper recent

events, but I'm not quite ready to move on from what happened last Monday.

The mass shooting at the Private Christian Grade School in Nashville were three nine-year-olds

and three adults were murdered by Alunatic, armed with an AR-15, the mass shooter's weapon of choice.

The shooter, who was killed at the scene by the police, appears to have been a trans man.

Now there is no epidemic of trans mass shooters out there. There's just this one, little perspective.

There have been 130 mass shootings in the United States in 2023, according to The New York Times.

So far, that's more than one mass shooting per day. The overwhelming majority of those

mass shootings were perpetrated by cis-gender men with guns. So if anything, trans people,

as a proportion of the population, are less of a danger, less of a threat, less likely to shoot up

school or a church or a synagogue or movie theater, then cis-gender males even after Nashville.

Now, anyone who had walked into a school and killed children is not sane. I'm off for

keeping guns out of the hands of the not sane, and since we don't often find out that someone
