Well, it looks like Christmas is coming early this year, nearly two whole months early,

because on November 1st, Hulu is releasing a new documentary.

God forbid, the sex scandal that brought down a dynasty, starring the world's most famous

pool boy. That would,

of course, be the pool boy, evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr. asked to fuck his wife while he watched.

And, as we're going to learn, apparently when the film comes out, as he filmed.

When the trailer for God forbid dropped last week, Charisma News, the Christian magazine for

Pentecostal and charismatic evangelicals, bemoaned this assault on Christian values,

not the assault from Falwell, the assault from Hollywood.

Charisma News urged their readers to pray for Jerry and Becky Falwell and the whole Falwell

dynasty, I guess. You know, as dynasties go,

the Falwells were a pretty short-lived one. There were five monarchs in the Tudor dynasty that ruled

England, six if you count, Lady Jane Gray, 15 Stuart Kings and Queens, 19 Hobsburg

emperors and empresses of Austria. There were just two lousy Falwells.

There are used card dealerships in Des Moines that have been in one family longer than Liberty

University was in the Falwell's private little fiefdom.

A little history for those of you who are lucky enough not to know who Jerry Falwell Sr. was.
