We could use a good sex scandal right about now, one or two or three, to distract us,

if only for a moment from the state of the world, which is, as I'm sure I don't need to tell

you, not good.

Now, when I talk about a good sex scandal, I don't mean anything non-consensual or clerical, and I don't mean something like the New York Post finding out a paramedic has an only fan's account because paramedics aren't paid for shit and then outing her and ruining her life, which happened just a couple of years ago. No, those aren't good sex scandals.

What I prefer, and longtime listeners are no doubt familiar with my sex scandal preferences,

what I prefer is some family values conservative asshole getting caught doing something.

Well, to be honest, getting caught doing something I might have signed off on in a professional

capacity if someone who wasn't a conservative family values Republican wrote in and asked for

my okay to go do that thing. And you know what? There was a really good sex scandal like that

just a few weeks ago, but it kind of fell through the cracks because the news is what the news is right now. But I don't

think we can afford to let a good sex scandal go to waste. Not at the moment. We need sex

scandals right now, like audiences during the Depression needed Busby Berkeley musicals. So for you,

for my listeners, I'm going to reach into the crack this sex scandal fell

into.

I am going to grease up my arm to the elbow and reach deep into this crack and pull this

sex scandal out and share it with you because I care.
