So here's the thing.

I want you to yell at Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Now, a lot of terrible people have been yelling at Governor Whitmer lately and for very stupid reasons.

Remember those images of gun-toting assholes who stormed

State Capitol and threatened to hang a democratically elected governor? That was Michigan and Whitmer

was on the receiving end of all those death threats. Quick digression. The feds did nothing. Donald

Trump did not send goons to Michigan, but a few bearded artisanal donut shop baristas look sideways at a federal

building in Portland and the first airborne is dispatched. Anyway, I want you to yell at Governor

Whitmer for a good reason, a legit reason, a just as injustice reason. Tell Governor Whitmer to free

Michael Thompson. Thompson sold some pot to a police

informant in 1994. He was arrested and when the police searched his home, they found two guns,

his wife's gun, which she owned legally, and an antique. Because of the guns, Thompson was hit with

an enhanced charge and sentenced to 60 years in prison

for selling someone a little weed when he did not have a gun on him and no one got shot or killed.
