It's Christmas, it's not a new church of a place. It's Christmas Day. This year Christmas fell on a Tuesday. That's the day the new Savage

Lovecasts come out. And I want to wish a very Merry Christmas to everyone out there who celebrates Christmas.

And I hope everybody out there who doesn't celebrate Christmas isn't being made too miserable

by all of us motherfuckers who do.

It's not officially Christmas at my house, though, until I've baked all the cookies.

Terry and I have had our annual fight about who's going to dust the baseboards.

But really, we know it's Christmas when this song comes on the playlist and Terry and I drop whatever we're doing, whatever we're fighting about, whatever we're baking, and stand in the kitchen and sing along.

That's when Christmas officially comes to my house, when Terry and I have stopped everything that we're doing, the arguments we're having, the cookies we're baking, the decorating we're

doing to stand in the kitchen and shout those lyrics at each other.

You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap, lousy faggot, happy Christmas you are, so I pray God,

it's our last.

You know, there are people out there, people who host television programs on Fox News,

who assert really without any evidence that there is a war on Christmas, that there are people out there making war on Christmas who would like to end Christmas. And they point their bony fingers that people like me, lefties, progressive, particularly gays, as if we hate Christmas

for some reason, as if we would have caused to hate Christmas. I can't speak for all lefties

and progressives, but I can't speak on behalf of the gays, I think, at least where this is concerned.

What's not gay about Christmas? What's not for gay people to love about Christmas?
