I've gotten a lot of emails from Bernie Sanders supporters, and I am a Bernie Sanders supporter, too.

I am also a Hillary Clinton supporter.

I am for Bernie.

I am for Hill.

Or I am for both. Or either, go Burnhill, Bill, Burns, whatever. Go Democrats. That's me. But I've gotten a million emails for the last couple of weeks telling me that Hillary Clinton was wrong on marriage equality back when Bernie Sanders was right on marriage equality. So for this reason,

because Bernie was always on our side, always on your side, Dan, about marriage equality. You

should, of course, as a marriage equality advocate yourself, support Bernie. And my position was and

remains and has been, yeah, a lot of people were against marriage equality back when

Hillary Clinton was against marriage equality, including Barack Obama, who I sent piles of money

to and voted for twice. And so I wasn't going to let that be an issue for me because she came

around and that's what we had. We asked people to change their mind. They changed their minds. And

then you're like, yeah, you changed your mind. Thank you. Fuck you. You changed your mind too late.

But thanks. Not how politics works, right? So I was listening to a podcast this week and a political podcast made in Spokane, Washington, my husband's hometown of all places, hosted by a guy who is totally in the tank for Bernie Sanders. As am I,

like I said, I am totally in the tank for Bernie Sanders, but I am bi-tanktual. I am in two

tanks at once, Bernie's and Hillary's. And he played a clip of Hillary Clinton in another subtle

effort to convince me to be for Bernie only played this clip of Hillary Clinton talking about marriage

and unpacking her opposition to marriage equality when she was a sitting U.S. Senator in the 2000s.

I believe that marriage is not just a bond, but a sacred bond between a man and a woman.
