What is it with Christian family vloggers?

Most of us, most of you, once upon a time, me, I had no idea that Christian family vlogger was a thing, much less a lucrative field that a good Christian family could go into, but Christian family vloggers are a thing. And we began to hear about this thing, these people who do little YouTube videos about their upstanding values and their family values and their Christian values and their lives with their spouses and children.

We heard about this phenomenon.

I became aware of it when a prominent Christian family vlogger was caught up in the Ashley Madison scandal.

Sam Radar, he's the guy who with his wife had one of their family Christian vlogger videos

go viral.

And it was the one perhaps you remember it where he snuck some of her pee out of the toilet and then surprised her with her positive pregnancy test, which I don't know if that's a thing that's possible.

Most women that I know flush the toilet when they use the toilet.

Most married ladies don't leave piss or shit sitting there in the toilet for their husbands to happen upon later.

At least the Christian ladies that I grew up around were all flushers, but not Sam Rader's

wife. Maybe it's an environmental thing. She's not a flusher. And he scooped up some of her pee.

And despite it having been diluted in the toilet water, it returned a positive pregnancy test.

And they jumped up and down and they were so excited and got all this attention and then did another video a few weeks later announcing that they had had a miscarriage and she wasn't pregnant at all.

And people, although always sad for people who've had experienced the tragedy of a miscarriage, people kind of side-eyed that a little bit because it got a lot of attention for the miracle of the diluted pee didn't flush positive pregnancy test viral video and then it came out that

this Christian family vlogger was on Ashley Madison had an account and he had to go online and

make sincere apologies and also tell us that he had confessed this sin, that he had discussed

it with his discipleship partner, and that he had been completely cleansed of this sin and

we should all just move the fuck on and he should get back to scolding other people about

their lifestyle choices.
