I saw it coming.

I knew that Kim Davis was going to be America's most famous persecuted Christian lady

martyr bigot.

When the story first broke, months and months ago, when Kim Davis in June refused to issue

marriage licenses to same-sex couples as the county clerk, elected county clerk, and Rowan

County, Kentucky, I knew how this was going to play out.

We'd seen with the pizza parlor owners who refused to cater a gay wedding, not that anyone

ever actually asked them to cater a gay wedding. Not that anyone ever actually asked them to

cater a gay wedding, but they refused preemptively to cater any gay weddings. And then somebody said

something mean about them on Yelp and they closed their pizza parlor. And sweet, sweet,

bigot money rained down on the owners of that pizza parlor. One million dollars was raised

online from gullible rubs to make them feel better

about being anti-gay bigots that someone said something mean about online. That's what Kim Davis's

goal was all along. I saw it coming. That when she said she wasn't going to issue those licenses,

I knew what was going to happen. There would be court cases. She would defy court orders. She would defy ultimately the Supreme Court of the United States. And then she

would be held in contempt of court and sent to prison. And then marriage licenses would be issued,

which is what happened. Marriage licenses are now being issued in Rowan County, Kentucky, two same

sex couples and opposite sex couples while Kim Davis is in prison and Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum and Pat Robertson run around

the country claiming Mike Huckabee says that this is the beginning of the illegalization
