We've talked about that study that found that people who are homophobic were aroused by gay pornography, likelyer to be aroused by gay pornography.

You take a homophobic dude, you wire his junk up.

I hate gay people.

You show him gay porn and he gets a boner.

And we've all looked at that study and thrown it around and thrown it in the faces of anti-gay

haters as proof that they're externalizing an internal struggle that they just, you know,

some of them are just, you know, closeted self-hating, self-hateres who are externalizing

their self-hate and making it other hate.

But that can't explain all the homophobia in the world.

They can't all be secret cock suckers.

There's too many of them.

They can't all be Ted Haggards and George Riekers and Marcus Bachman's.

And we have a new study that came out this week that documents a different kind of homophobia, a different sort of reason for it, a different motivator for homophobia.

And it's kind of funny when you think about it.

When you think about America's highest profile homophobes, you think about Tony Perkins. You think about Rick Santorum. You think about

Brian Brown. Pat Robertson. You think about these notorious homophobes. And then you think about

them because you can't not think about them if you're gay because they're always up in our business.

But then you think about them in light of this study and you really just want to go and

slap the sense into each
