I was going to start this week's show by talking up my book, which is coming out next Tuesday, May 28th.

My publisher wants me to do nothing but talk about my book for the next month and promote it.

So you should all fucking go get American Savage.

I was just going to talk about the book and what was in it, but I actually can't do that.

There's just too much horrible shit going on in the world.

There is the Texas judge appointed by George W. Bush who ordered a lesbian couple to break up or he would take one of those lesbian couples, you know, one half of the couple's kids away and give them to dad. If the lesbian couple didn't break up, he cited a morality clause. There's the Catholic school that will not let the trans student appear at his graduation

in male clothing.

They're forcing him to come to his graduation in a female cap and gown.

That really pissed me off.

There is the gay man who was murdered in New York City steps away from the Stonewall Inn,

shot in the head by an asshole anti-gay

bigot. This comes on top of four other hate crimes targeting gay men in New York City in the last

two weeks. There were the riots in Georgia, a small group of brave Georgia, Georgia, not the

state, Georgia, the former Soviet Republic. There was a riot. Fifty people

staged a gay pride rally. Thousands of anti-gay protesters showed up, pushed through police

barricades, and attacked those 50 gay pride ralliers. They were thrown onto buses by the police

and barely escaped with their lives.
