Straight people suck.

That's not something I believe.

It's something a whole bunch of people who want to prevent same-sex couples from having

the same rights and privileges and responsibilities as opposite sex couples seem to believe.

Recently, we had the previous pope, the Dowager pontiff, we will call him, arguing that we can't

have same-sex marriage because then everyone will get gay married.

And I don't understand why straight people aren't offended by that.

That's not necessarily a straight people suck argument from the Pope, the previous

pope, the Dowager Pope.

That is a straight people don't exist argument from the previous Pope.

And the only thing preventing everyone on earth from being as gay as they really are and

want to be is the unavailability of marriage licenses in most places for same-sex couples.

Once those are available, no more penis in vagina.

It's all penis in same-sex butt.

But we've seen this sort of emerging argument that straight people suck.

It's kind of the last desperate argument of the anti-gay, anti-equality right. We just had the arguments before the

Supreme Court on DOMA and on Prop 8 in California. And in the amicus briefs filed by the

supporters of Prop 8, they argued that marriage needs to be reserved to opposite-sex couples because

only opposite-sex couples get pregnant by accident.
