You may be familiar with the fact that there are pharmacists out there who feel it isn't

their job or don't want it to be a job or have refused to fill prescriptions

for the morning after pill for plan B because they disapprove of abortion and for religious

reasons. And there have been attempts to codify this into law, religious exceptions for certain

people to not have to do their jobs because they disapprove of you and yours and your bets and what you're doing with them.

And the drugs that you need.

I think that if a doctor's written you a prescription, that the pharmacist should fill your prescription without making any moral judgments and shut the fuck up and give you your drugs.

If they don't want to fill people's prescriptions, perhaps they

shouldn't be pharmacists. We've been over this before on the podcast and everywhere else.

And sometimes you lose your capacity to be shocked, but I am shocked. In Idaho, Idaho, God bless

office called a Walgreens pharmacist

to ask for a prescription for something called methagene or meathergene. I'm sure I'm mispronouncing

the name of this drug, which at feministing they write is a medicine used to prevent or control

bleeding of the uterus following childbirth or an abortion.

The pharmacist, who was on the phone with Planned Parenthood, refused to fill the

prescription until Planned Parenthood told her what it was for.

If it was for someone who'd just given birth, she would fill the prescription. If it was for someone who'd just given birth,
