I'm calling from Chicago.

I love your podcast, by the way, but I never thought I'd be calling for what I am calling for. I thought it'd be calling with one of my own problems, but I'm actually calling in response to last week's podcast, where you didn't exactly cite statistics, but you did refer to about 2% of the population being gay is the number you

kept using and the sort of numbers you were extrapolating from that.

And I was just wondering where you got that from and why that's the number you're using

because, of course, there are all sorts of numbers floating around out there, but you

would expect someone, one would expect someone like yourself to quote a higher number than that,

because normally when you hear something like 2%, you usually are hearing that from someone decidedly more conservative than yourself.

So I was just wondering where that was coming from.
