So as many listeners of the deadcasts will know, the Mike and the Mad Dog show is the most riotous sports broadcast in America.

Mike and the Mad Dog have since split up.

But the legendary 9-11 tapes, we found one of them. The backstory here is after 9-11,

Mike and the Mad Dog did 9-11 radio where like, you know, Frankie Formozo and Park would call in and give his takes.

And they gave their takes about geopolitics, you know, democracy, freedom, and most controversially, Israel.

So Phil Mushnik has written about for years how in the days after 9-11 they were writing about

how uh american jews should be subject to the loyalty test the anti defamation league got involved

this became a point in an upcoming 30 for 30 documentary where the producers asked frances about it

he denied saying anything uh anti-semitic you know, everyone was taking things out of context or

taking them wrong or remembering things that hadn't been said.

And the problem was no one could find the tapes.

However, after Kevin Draper wrote about the search for these missing tapes, we got a few tips

and we were able to locate one of them. A six-hour tape
