But first, the deadly storms in the Midwest. At least eight people killed in just the past 24 hours from

severe weather, including more than a dozen reported tornadoes across multiple states. The

storms now moving east. ABC's Morgan Norwood is here with the impacts. Good morning, Morgan.

That's right. Those deadly tornadoes cutting a path of destruction across the Midwest.

At least eight people are dead, as you mentioned.

Four killed in Michigan after a tornado leveled homes near Union City, four more in Oklahoma.

And these storms, Janay, striking in the cover of night.

And this morning, the devastation is becoming clear as ever.

Oh, Minard's roof just blew off.

This morning, at least eight people dead as tornadoes battered the Midwest from Oklahoma to Michigan.

Oh, my heart is pounding.

In Michigan, at least four people killed, a dozen more injured, after at least one twister swept through the state wiping out entire neighborhoods.
