We begin with the latest on the war with Iran.

The Pentagon says the strikes against Iran in the already massive

air campaign will be intensifying, and Chief Foreign Correspondent Ian Panel is tracking it all

for us from Tel Aviv Israel. Ian.

Yeah, good afternoon. Residents in Tehran are reporting one of the heaviest nights of bombing

so far. We've seen the US and Israel step up their campaign,

but Iran still showing that it's got the capability to retaliate.

Overnight, an Iranian missile intercepted over Kuwait, debris igniting a large fire coming from

the direction of the Ali al-Salem base, which hosts US troops, in video verified by ABC News.

Iran saying they're preparing for a possible US ground invasion, saying, quote, we're waiting

for them and warning thousands would be killed. While not ruling out boots on the ground,

the US hasn't announced any such plans. But Secretary Pete Hegg said, saying the attacks on Iran are about to surge dramatically,

with a stockpile of munitions ready for deployment.
