Temptation is a weird thing. Why are we tempted by certain things? Temptation implies it's something

you probably shouldn't do, but you, for reason are wanting to do it or tempted by it.

And it's really sort of the very base of humanity. It's like the very depth of our soul.

We're tempted to do things we know are going to hurt us or mess us up or be a bummer long run.

But man, we're just so tempted.

Like leaving your phones on during church.

Huge temptation.

But we know that temptation is something you don't want to do.

I feel like my dog sometimes.

My old dog, Charlie, who's now in doggy heaven,

he was great when it came to this.

I remember I would set a treat down for him you know

and and i would say now wait you know and he was so good but it cracked me up his tactics of

how to avoid the temptation because instead of just looking at the treat he would just look around

like anywhere but the trade he would be like waiting and as soon as I'd give him the signal,

he's like, pyrr right into that trait,

but I thought, man, he's smarter than I am.

Because we look at our temptations

and we just stare out and go, oh, it's beautiful.

And we want that.
