I think we were like eight minutes in and they had an offensive rating of 22.2 and

Credit slash blame goes in both directions there

I thought Denver's defense did a really good job not giving San Antonio

Space to attack either for open jump shots were around the basket

But also San Antonio was was it didn't seem like they were playing with much zip and then they also

Just were taking some bad shots. Yeah, and that incredible mid-range shooting that was

Aldridge and D'Rosen in game six it was not there those guys just weren't getting great looks

Early on they weren't able to draw the defense and get their teammates open either

It was a massive struggle for them and Denver came out amped up really with the crowd at their back

And it was really that first quarter that gave Denver the lead that they ultimately would never really question though

It came very close the spurs ultimately never actually had the ball with the chance to tie or take the lead

Down the end, but yeah that 23 to 13 first quarter it was really I think what sunk the spurs and

Denver did a great job in one-on-one defense great job of shrinking the floor
