Today I am so excited to have a newer entrepreneur on the podcast, one who left a

very illustrious career in the corporate beauty industry to start what would become her

own incredible company with a cult following.

Her name is Sarah Lee and she is the co-founder and co-CEO of Glow Recipe.

For those of you who don't know Glow Recipe, it is a groundbreaking company that is

both an e-commerce destination that retails a curated selection of natural K-beauty products

as well as a skincare company with a hugely successful product called the Watermelon Glow

Sleeping Mask, which was a 2017 phenomenon and sold out seven times on both GlowRecipe.com

and Sephora and at one point had a wait list of almost 10,000 people.

The company is growing in leaps and bounds and releasing new products all the time, but,

as I'm sure you might have guessed, it wasn't Sarah's initial dream.

She actually spent her entire pre-glow recipe work life at the same company, L'Oreal Paris,

where she worked her way up from a junior position in the company's career office to assistant

vice president and head of hair care at L'Oreal Paris in New York.

It is a fascinating ride through a corporation and beyond and I really think you're going

to enjoy it.
