Summary

Sarah Hurwitz was a White House speech writer from 2009 until 2017, serving as a senior speechwriter for President Obama before becoming head speechwriter for first lady Michelle Obama. After a tough break-up, Sarah came across an advertisement for a beginners class on Judaism. Sarah's experience was not at all what she expected but instead connected her to a much deeper meaning of life. Why do some of us find these experiences, while others not? Take a listen to find out.
