Welcome to Tuesday, the 8th of August.

As I said on the programme earlier on, all this fuss about Waterloo Station.

No trouble at all getting a train back.

In fact, it was practically me and some dust balls rolling down the platform. It was really,

really quiet. The train I was on was really, really quiet. I thought as we pull into,

on my route, Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, Putney, Barnes, blah, blah, blah. I thought there'd

be people queuing on the platform. Nobody! Clapham Junction, one person got on. One person.

So the trains were obviously all running very well. I have to be honest, I have to say,

to the people who run Waterloo Station, all the other stations, there were loads of people

wearing uniforms who were offering advice of where to go. Seriously, I've never seen so many people.

There was a few little groups standing

around yacking among themselves, but the rest of them were doing really well. And I then sort of made it

to Platform 20, which is now a separate concourse up where they used to do the Euro star from. And,

you know, I know that there were loads of people in the evening, but then I did warn you at 5 o'clock. I said, and this is, I think it was about

half past five, 25 to 6. I said, there will be loads of people at Waterloo because all the

platforms are shunted down that end. And there were. When I left here yesterday and I got there

about half past 11, nobody. Nobody. I mean, I seriously couldn't believe how empty it was. So I said, if you were going to, I mean, in the morning, you all did really well.

And then in the evening, you obviously thought, oh, we'll go back there. It'll be fine. No, it wasn't.

Fine was sort of a little bit, um, a little bit busier, I'm afraid. But it'll go through again today and tomorrow and the next day and every bloody day, okay, until the end of the

month. So, you know, if you can go home via another route, go home via another route, they were
