So here we are. It's a Monday and once again we appear to be on the horns of a dilemma.

The Metropolitan Police seem to think it's okay to be violent towards women who are involved in a protest about violence against women.

Their boss, Crescenta Dick, who spends most of the time in an armchair,

has hit out at people calling for her resignations as a result of what happened at the weekend as

armchair critics. Women, who were told not to hold a vigil for murder victim Sarah Everard,

did so anyway, and were then joined by the usual renter mob types, who used the solemn event

as an excuse to have a punch-up with the cops who suffered, of course, injuries to 26 officers assaulted

as a result of what was going on. They say they were simply enforcing the COVID lockdown

rules, but of course they weren't just doing that, were they? Because last night they were

just involving themselves in carrying out the duties of the police in invoking the COVID rules,

but they didn't do the same thing.

They had completely different strategy. It's all a colossal mess.
