So why don't you give us your background of your weight loss story and talk about how you lost pounds with a low carb diet and then how you switch to paleo and how much better you felt and

just a little bit of intro of your whole story.

My whole story in 20 minutes or less.

I was always overweight and never a particularly healthy kid.

And in my early 20s, I had hit sort of mid-200s, 265 pounds weight.

And I felt really helpless and didn't have any really good strategies.

Every time I tried going on a diet.

And diet to me back then meant just calorie restriction, go down to 1,200 calories a day

and see how long I could keep that up before I fell off the wagon.

I would end up gaining the weight and more back, which is a familiar story, I think, for many people.

And then I was introduced to the new Mayo Clinic diet, which was a fad, low-carb diet in the
