What made you decide at this point in your career to write, take the leap, and why now? And then tell the listeners a little about what it's about.

Please. Well, basically, I've written profiles my entire career. And the one thing that I found that was really fascinating is a lot of the most successful people, it wasn't a linear path.

It ended up, they had this whole other life beforehand. And to me, that was fascinating and really

inspiring, partly because I wasn't really that happy with my own career. I kind of gone into

nonfiction as like a little bit of a placeholder with this idea that I was going to be a novelist.

And I had written a couple books and the one that was supposed to be my big breakout book just wasn't.
