I feel like I'm on the phone with this major celebrity because I've been carrying around House of Gold and telling everybody I know, like, I am reading the best book. And now I get to talk to you,

listeners what House of Gold is about and how you came up with the idea for the book? Well,

the gold-bound family are the confidence of governments and kings. They have

banking houses all across Europe. It's 1911. But despite that, nobody quite trusts them because they're

Jewish. And for their own part, the Goldbaum's realized that only family can be trusted. So Greta Goldbaum

of the Vienna dynasty is being sent to London to marry her cousin Albert, a man who she's

never met. And right from the start, it looks like the marriage is going to be a disaster because
