So yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited where we go. We're close.

You know, and again, I'll state the obvious. We've been close for a long time, right?

The next hurdle in the Vikings organization is how do we get there?

And that's just the truth. But the real alley is to only one team gets there every year.

Right? So if you're not close, I'd rather be close than freaking who sucks the Jets? Oh gosh.

Being the Jets would be miserable right now.

I just can't believe anybody took that job.

Oh, rough one.

So you get to say this stuff when you're retired.

You can say whatever you want? It's awesome.

Well, there's a new sheriff in town, and his name is Jared Allen, taking shots at the Jets,

riding in on his horse, taking shots at the Jets, rollicking press conference associated with the fact that he was recently elected the Pro Football Hall of Fame, one of the all-time great

Vikings pass rushers.

And he's right, the Vikings have been good.

They just haven't been great.

Right.

Trust me, the past 48 years, they've been good, not great.

No Super Bowl appearances since Super Bowl 11.

Good enough is just good enough.

I fear far too often that that's the unspoken mantra of the organization.

Let's just make it to the playoffs every year.

Who cares if we get to the Super Bowl or not?
