and I got an email from somebody who insists it's a Simsism. But it's not. Paying the Pied Piper

is the long version of paying the Piper, because the Pied Piper Fable is about the

Piper who came to the town of Hamlin to lure away their rat infestation. And when the mayor

reneged, trying to pay him 50 guilders instead of a thousand guilders, yes, we do research during the

breaks in the show. He tried to pay him only 50 guilders

instead of a thousand. While all the adults were at church, the Pied Piper came back. He lured the

town's 130 children into a cave and they were never seen again. Which, which, which tells me,

that shit was dark. I mean, that is, that is dark. Damn. You, you kill the rats. You don't get paid and you killed all the kids. I don't

know. That is dark. And what does the Pied come from? You said, like, what is that the, what he

wears or what was that? Yes. The multi-colored clothing worn by the Pied Piper.

The Pied means apparently, or at least it once did, the multi-color variation of what he wore to town.
