Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely.

And may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He who calls you is faithful. He will surely do it.

Ah, this is coming right near the end of this letter that Paul writes to the Thessalonian Church.

And it's such a beautiful prayer.

May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely.

And that's the phrase I really wanna soak in.

Sanctify you, that means make you holy,

make you more like Jesus.

And he uses this word completely.

And it just causes me to think.

And what I want to encourage you to think about is what area of your life?

Just identify one.

There's multiple ones for all of us.

But let's identify one area right now in our lives where we need more sanctification, where we need to be more like Jesus. Just think about that right now.

What's one area of your life where you need God himself to sanctify you so that you will be, this is the way

the verse goes on to talk about being blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Like if Jesus were to come back today, what's one area of your life?

You wish, you desire, you want to look more like Him.

And let's just pray for that area of our lives today to be sanctified.
