My name is Todd Heyman and we are two ministers slash buds who love the stories of the Bible and hey we can't wait to share another one with you.

In fact today we're going to be in the Old Testament, Ye Old Testament in judges talking about a famous guy named Samson and a little bit of his love interest, Matt.

It's a weird story. Samson is one of those characters in the Bible that he's just unique and the more that you read about him.

We remember his strength but my boy he's got a few little weirdzies too in his personality and today we're going to examine one of those.

So we're in the book of judges like you mentioned chapter 14 and we've skipped, chapter 13 was about Samson's conception, chapter 14 skips into his adulthood.

So we've left the little baby in the cradle and now we're with the man and if this was a movie buddy I think that you would move from his nursery.

Like one shot would be his nursery and then it would fade to black and then the camera would open up unlike a boot like and then you zoom out and there's a motorcycle wheel and then you zoom out and he's like in ripped jeans like a leather jacket like Samson's a bad boy.

Yeah, that's the outfit I have on right now.

In your church is the executive fast dressed, what you're wearing right now?

That's what I'm wearing, you know what I mean? Just taking the phone calls and the emails and a bomber jacket.

There are maybe even listening, if your mom's friend you're listening and you're part of one of these please let us know on social media but there are Christian motorcycle organizations.

Yeah, we don't want to call them gangs.

I don't know if we can even call them clubs, I don't know because there's like a scary term and there's an okay term.

Yeah, they're like gatherings.

Sure, yeah that seems safe.

So that's to kind of give you a little flavor, our guy, Samson, he's a bit of a wild child and when we pick up with him, we are following him as he happens to notice a beautiful,

Philistine woman.

Just, I mean, he just, his eye, he's taking the scenery and then all of a sudden he sees this lady and he is hooked.

But keep in mind that Samson was destined for something special in chapter 13.

You recall that his parents, they couldn't conceive a child and then the angel of the Lord and many people believe this to be Jesus a pre-incarnate Christ meaning Jesus on the earth talking and doing things before he came to the earth as a baby.

So the pre-incarnate Christ told Samson's mom that she would indeed conceive his son and that he was going to do some big things for Israel.
