Hello and welcome to Bible Stories. We are your hosts, Matt Mullin. Hello. Hey, Matt. And my name is Todd Hamins. And we're two ministers slash

buds who love telling the stories of the Bible. And we can't wait to share another one with you. In

fact, today we're going to be in the book of Judges, J-U-D-G-E-S, not to be confused with one of our

favorite duos, the Juds. But we'll leave that for another podcast. But today, yeah, we're going to be in

Judges 13 talking about a precursor to a fellow named Samson. Now, the Juds were those, was that the

mother daughter or they sisters? I can't remember mother daughter, right? It was mother daughter. Yeah. Did you and your mom,

what if you had to take a talent that you two share and maybe make an act out of it? What do you

think it would be? We're talking music, cooking, maybe some kind of dramatic performance. Is there

anything or car repair? Anything that you two share a similar skill set and that you would take on

the road and really jut it out? Probably dancing, you know? A little mother, son, dancing duo?

Can you two dance, genuinely? Growing up, I would dance with my mom, you know,

waltzing and tango, that kind of stuff. And you know, it does take two to tango, so.

There are, you are, you're deep waters because there are things I learned about you that I didn't know

before. So legitimately, like, did you learn how to do those things? Well, I mean, not classically

trained or anything like that. But my sister, my older sister took a lot of dance. So, therefore,

I was in the studio at a young age watching her tap dance and jazz and all those kinds of things.

And, you know, would I impersonate? Yeah, I would. Sure, you know what I mean? So, sometimes,

I dance with my sister, sometimes I dance with my mom and my dad would just be in the corner shaking

his head. It's fine. Everything's fine. Is this where you tell us that your sister was Judy Garland

that you're Todd Garland? Yeah, Francis Gumb, actually, because Judy Garland was only your stage name.

Really? Is it? Yeah. Wow. Look at that fun fact of the day, huh? My mom plays a piano. And when I would

sing, so like for my college audition to get into choir for college, she did the accompaniment.
