0:11.0	This is bonus episode number 106, and it's another backyard rambles session.
0:21.6	Right now I'm inside my gazebo tent on a warm summer night.
0:32.6	I have my fabric curtains are open, but I've closed or except the screen, the fabric screens closed,
0:44.3	to keep away the little skin biters. The sound of this outdoor recording may sound different from other ones I've done because I have a new outdoor recording setup.
1:07.0	In almost all my prior outdoor recordings,
1:13.6	I was using a lab mic that was clipped onto my glasses.
1:21.6	And I was recording into my iPhone.
1:26.6	And I got that to sound pretty good.
1:30.3	But, you know me by now,
1:33.3	I'm always trying to improve my audio recordings,
1:41.3	and especially my outdoor recordings.
1:45.0	So tonight, I have a handheld stage microphone plugged into an adapter and then plugged into my iPhone.
2:06.4	Almost any stage microphone should sound better than a lab
2:09.9	or a lapel microphone.
2:13.5	So I hope this sounds
2:15.6	like my best outdoor recording quality yet.
