Feeding birds in the park.

I know that you may prefer to feed the birds in the park on a nice, warm, sunny day,

but today we are going to feed the birds on a slightly chilly day at the start of winter.

Why? Because winter is the time when it can be the most

difficult for birds to find food. So you and I are going to Central Park in New York City

to give a little helping hand to our feathered friends.

Now, call me crazy, but feeding birds or just watching them is a wonderful joy that everyone should try.

Once you become acquainted with a few birds,

every flutter of a wing, every little peep or song will bring you delight.
