Then at roughly the same time that host John Stewart left the show, she did too, heading

to TBS as the creator, writer, executive producer, and host of TBS's full frontal with Samantha B,

which made her the first woman ever to host a late night satire show.

The 21 minute once a week program debuted on February 8th, 2016, and thanks largely to B's on-screen persona as a woman raging against idiocy quickly

found a large and passionate following.

Within a year, its viewership was up 167 percent, and it was the most watched late night show among people in the much prized 18 to 34 demographic.

And within two years, it was nominated for the Best Variety Talk Series Emmy and won the Emmy for Best Writing for a Variety Special, in recognition of its one-time offshoot, not the White House
