This is the podcast where we talk about things in the scriptures that have just become very real to us because we think when that happens we can draw more power out of the scriptures, and we need all the power that we can get from these scriptures.

I'm your host, Kerry Mulesstein, and I'm excited about my guest today.

We have with us Samantha Milburn, who is an editor at the, at Covenant Communications.

They are the publishers of books and so on, and is the editor that I've worked with.

And I've just found Sam to be so fantastic to work with and just I don't get she doesn't give me

too many gospel insights too often but anytime I get the chance to get it from her it's just

wonderful and profound so I was just looking forward to maybe hearing from her a little bit and

she's agreed to be on the show with us. So thank you, Sam. You're welcome.

Thank you for inviting me. Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself?

All right. Like Carrie said, I've been with Covenant Communications for about 12 years now,

and I've been the managing editor of Covenant for three years.

And I just love working with books.

I love working with fiction.

I love working with nonfiction.

It's an excellent mix to be able to enjoy just a light read and then dive into the

scriptures with authors like Carrie and so many others who teach us every day. So I love that

part of my job. I have five kids.

They're all just little.

My oldest is eight years old.

And then I've got a six-year-old, a five-year-old, a three-year-old, and a two-year-old.

That's a busy life.
