This is Janet Erickson, who is in my college at BYU in religious education.

She teaches in church history and doctrine.

And there are all sorts of great things I can tell you about her and her work. I'll let her talk a little bit about that,

but her work in family studies and so on. But I'll just tell you that I'm most impressed that

Janet is someone who really is consecrated and really just wants to seek out the Lord's will

and do the Lord's will in her life.

I discovered your work on Hecet and Covenants, and I was so struck by it.

My background is in family science, and so I taught for the school family life exclusively

for some period of years, and now I'm in religious education where I get to teach

the eternal family class, which we talk about the proclamation. My PhD is from the University

of Minnesota. And so I have kind of a social science look at what our human experience

teaches us about the proclamation and these divine truths,

how are they revealed in a sense in our experience?
