Evening, everybody. Welcome to another episode of Why Are You Laughing, a history of comedy podcast.

And today, I am pleased to introduce to you Sam Hyde versus Tim Heidecker. And this is our second

time re-recording this episode. So, uh, if I,

if I casually gloss over a point with nonchalance, just know I crushed it the first time.

Oh, oh, you would have loved the first time we did this. It was fantastic. But you were so

here we are. It was amazing. Uh, and I was excited to do this episode. I was annoyed we lost

the first take because I was excited to do this because a lot of people have requested

Sam Hyde in general, whether it's a million dollar extreme, Sam's sketch group,

Sam is a guy, or this specific incident where his show got canceled and Tim Hydecker played a part in that.

It's all been requested by a lot of people and I didn't know a ton about Sam Hyde going into this.

I've seen him at Skankfest and I've seen him on various podcasts.

And it's interesting because my take on both guys, Sam Hydeck and Tim Hideer,

as a comedy fan, these two guys aren't really for me.

I haven't consumed a ton of their stuff.

And that's not to say they're bad.
