New research reveals 25% of US consumers say they're likely to buy an electric vehicle next time they're in the market.

That's according to a survey released this week by AAA.

Makes me think of another consumer study issued by AAA earlier this year,

which showed about 75% of US consumers are still afraid to ride in a fully self-driving vehicle.

One part interests, three parts fear.

I'm melting together two separate surveys, but EVs and avies are supposed to upend transportation over the next decade, and maybe the former's on track and the latter is flagging behind.

Reality is probably more nuanced than that, and the success of both is dependent on both vehicle technology and the environments in which they operate charging infrastructure for

EVs operating design domains for autonomous vehicles to name too.
