Veterans Day is a special holiday here at KKHI, and for many of you, for various reasons.

I spent a little time last evening with a veteran, John Hutchins, my friend,

an amazing garage floors, as we were at Danny Klinkscales event at

Pathfinder Brewing in Shawnee and many KKHI listeners came by. It was great to see you.

And some of you are veterans and some of you are from military families and some of you

know people that have been in military. And it's just a great day to celebrate those who serve

our country so selflessly and for duty,

honor, and country.

I just have tremendous respect for military families and the traditions that military families have.

It should be noted on a day like this, and I've always thought this, and I don't bring it up

very often, but I think Veterans Day is certainly a time to do it. The wide variety of

experiences of people in the military, from people who have been in the military and risen all the

way to President of the United States

from their military background to families that have had tragically multiple family

members lose their lives in action in the military. There simply is no other occupation in

the United States and perhaps in the world that is as diverse by experience as

serving your country in the military. And I don't know that there's any fairness to it,

if there's any reason to any of it. But it's a day like this that I think of everyone across every spectrum and thank

you so much for your service. And those that have served in action, veterans who have had experiences
