And I was shocked when I discovered that people routinely said, holy ghost.

I think somebody realized, that makes this sound made up if we say holy ghost.

But ghost implies unfinished business.

So who was the Holy Ghost before?

What is the business that it has that it needs to accomplish

before it can stop haunting the earth?
